However, one of our customers has already put his model up for auction on E-bay despite our best efforts to protect readers from potential profiteering.
Buy the MEDITE 66 from E-bay and you COULD end up paying much more than you need.
The MEDITE Class 66 costs £89.95 INCLUDING POST AND PACKING direct from Model Rail. (£85 to Model Rail subscribers).
Of course, if you can get a bargain at LESS than this price by bidding on E-Bay I’ll be delighted for you, but there’s absolutely NO REASON to bid above the Model Rail price – just buy direct from us.
Furthermore, we have not yet sent out the Limited Edition certificates – indeed at the time of writing on 29 January 2007 the certificate has yet to be designed, - so the E-Bay advertiser is not yet in possession of the certificate which he mentions in his advertisement. Whilst we will fulfil our obligation in supplying a certificate to this person in due course, we are under no obligation to supply certificates to third parties, nor will we be willing to provide replacements for ‘lost’ or damaged certificates.
