BREAKING NEWS – Dapol to produce telescopic hood steel wagon in ‘OO’

Dapol has revealed that it is to produce a telescopic hood steel wagon for ‘OO’ gauge in 2008. An ‘N’ gauge version is already in development and should arrive later this year, with the ‘OO’ wagon due to be released at the Warley NEC exhibition in December 2008. The announcement follows Dapol’s decision to press ahead with its ‘OO’ intermodal spine wagon despite a disappointing response from retailers and customers (see separate news story).
