Kernow’s 5th birthday bash

On September 22 Kernow Model Rail Centre in Camborne, Cornwall is celebrating its fifth anniversary. In conjunction with Bachmann Europe, KMRC will be hosting a demonstration of the new Bachmann Dynamis Digital system. Customers are encouraged to come and visit the shop on this date and see the Dynamis system in use. Bachmann will bring its demonstration layout so that modellers can try Dynamis before buying.

KMRC plans to have special offers on the day and will also be launching a new loyalty scheme, which awards a point for every pound spent. These points are then converted to an account credit which can be spent on any item in store or on-line. When KMRC opened five years ago it had just seven Hornby locomotives in stock and owner Chris Trerise still had some hair! Since then it has increased stock levels and now has over 300 different locomotives and a full supporting range of rolling stock and accessories available. More than 60,000 customers have been dealt with, either face to face or by mail order.
